Delivering our Strategy

As stated in our People Strategy, we are committed to ensure transparency and engage with staff effectively and in a timely manner. In order to fulfil our commitment to staff, and, to ensure consistency of the delivery of messages and activities, we will adopt a more centralised approach being mindful of local adaptation. We will use the current communication channels to deliver key messages and additional channels where possible.

Currently the communication channels used within ARU are:

  • CMT dissemination
  • Team briefings
  • Targeted emails
  • Bulletin
  • Post (only for those on long term absence)

The Vice Chancellorís email sent to all staff on 9th May 2018, highlights the strategic budget savings plans. The strategic budget savings document provides an overview of the whole savings programme. The proposed faculty academic restructure provides details of the overall proposal for the restructure for the faculties. A summary of our Tribal Benchmarking exercise is available.
