Nursing and Midwifery timetables

The structure for these courses differs to the majority of our degrees which are delivered in semesters or trimesters. This is because nursing and midwifery courses have a set number of theory and placement hours to complete in order to meet professional requirements for qualification.

The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education identifies all the theory, coursework, annual leave and placement weeks for each cohort. You will be given details of this by the faculty once your course begins. Your personal E-Vision timetable will only contain the taught theory hours for your course.

Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum but occasionally the faculty may have to make adjustments. You will be informed by the timetabling team of any changes to taught theory hours and by the faculty of any other changes.
