Cambridge controlled parking zone extensions

Last updated: February 2018

Following consultations with local residents in autumn 2017, 2 new controlled parking zones (residents’ permits) are currently being consulted on by Cambridgeshire County Council. This includes one in Staffordshire Street close to ARU Young Street site. Both statutory consultations will be open for public comment from 2 February to 28 February 2018. Details of the proposals and how to comment are advertised on the Traffic Regulation Order webpage.

Plans for 2 other controlled parking zones in Newnham and Coleridge West are still being developed following comments put forward during the residents’ consultation. This forms part of a larger project to widen controlled parking zones in Cambridge over the next 2 years. Information about this project is available from the Greater Cambridgeshire Partnership.
