What is it?

The University Library runs a biennial survey asking customers (staff and students) about their perceptions of the service. To do this we run the internationally recognised LibQUAL+ survey which enables us to identify best practices, analyse user issues, and effectively allocate resources in response to comments and data from customers.

Data collection takes place via a web-based questionnaire and it consists of three themes with 22 questions:

  • Affect of service
  • Information Control
  • The library as a place

The results allow us to gain a very detailed picture of our customers' perceptions of the University Library and is invaluable for benchmarking data against comparable institutions.

Who can participate?

All students and staff can take part.
