The women who made modern Cambridge - talk by Anthony Carpen
14 September, 13:00 - 14:00, LAB003
One of the forgotten pieces of Cambridge history is the work that a group of women undertook from the 1880s to the end of World War II to overhaul and modernise our city. Local historian, Antony Carpen, tells the story of these women, without whom our city would not be what it is today.
