Female participants needed for study - 1 SONA credit!

Study Name: The Effect of Perceived stress and Hair Cortisol Concentrations on Intraocular Pressure in University Students

This study is being conducted to examine the relationship between intraocular eye pressure and stress. Participants will be required to fill out questionnaires, and a hair sample will be taken for analysis. Eye pressures for each participant will also be taken.

Eligibility: Female participants studying at Anglia Ruskin and with hair longer than 3cms. Participants with hair shorter than 3cms in length, or hair that makes getting close to their scalp difficult, for example extensions, will not be able to take part in the study.

This study has received ethics approval by the Faculty Research Ethics Panel (FREP) and has been ratified under the terms of Anglia Ruskin University’s Policy and Code of Practice for the Conduct of Research with Human Participants.
