South Asia Anglia Partnership Leadership Conference, 9th - 10th June

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has helped establish the South Asia Anglia Partnership (SAAP), an initiative to bring together universities across the region - India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka – providing a network for universities to learn from each other through collaboration for the benefit of students, research, culture and the economy. The universities currently involved in the partnership are a selection of publicly funded and private institutions as well as policy makers, each with a unique area of expertise, experience and expectation.

In India - Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Bharathiar University, University of Calcutta, Chitkara University, Cochin University of Science & Technology, D.Y.Patil University, The Kerala State Department of Education, Jadhavpur University, University of Mumbai, University of Mysore, Somaiya Vidyavihar, Tamilnadu State Council of Higher Education; Britannia University and Daffodil International University in Bangladesh; University of Management and Technology and Institute of Business Administration University in Pakistan and Sir John Kotlewala Defence University in Sri Lanka.

Senior leaders from these institutions will be meeting at ARU over the next two days to discuss challenges facing higher education institutions looking to enhance performance in a landscape of diminishing resources.
