Welcome to the Academic Registry


Our offices at the Chelmsford Campus (1st floor, Eastwood House) and the Cambridge Campus (1st Floor, Abbeygate House) are open as follows:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm


The Academic Registry supports a wide range of academic activities, including a secretariat function to the Senate committee structure, and provide access to a variety of publications and information which are designed to help the staff and students of Anglia Ruskin University and its UK and international Associate Colleges.

The Academic Registry Vision

The Academic Registry Vision is to:

  • deliver outstanding professional support, advice and guidance to all our customers – students, examination candidates, appellants, external examiners, Associate Colleges, academic staff, Senate committees, the Corporate Management Team and the Vice-Chancellor's Group;

  • maintain lean and innovative systems for all areas of our work including more electronic based schemes which empower faculties, associate colleges and other support services to achieve their objectives, with appropriate support from the Academic Registry;

  • become a recognised and trusted source for both regular and special demands for management information, and advice on its interpretation and meaning;

  • be an exemplar of best practice for the sector and aspire to achieve external recognition for our work.
