WebCT is Anglia Ruskin's centrally-supported virtual learning environment (VLE). Although it is the most commonly-used learning software across the University, not all modules are supported on WebCT.

These pages are designed to answer the most common problems that students encounter when they use, or try to use, WebCT.

Remember, that for you to use WebCT to study a module or course:

• You need to have a WebCT user account (separate from your other Anglia Ruskin computer accounts)
• The module has to be supported by WebCT (in 2007-08, about 25% of modules across Anglia Ruskin used WebCT)
• You have to be registered to the module (each WebCT course bases its student list on the module registrations held in the SITS database)
