As
Prospero’s magic draws the stricken ship to his enchanted
isle, Shakespeare’s own mystical words cast us all
into a world of tricks and plots, deceptions and illusions.
With lashings of ginger-beer and scraped-knees aplenty,
brothers will vie for noble titles, young sweethearts will
discover true love and just for a moment the cynical world
will be rolled back by the Bard’s enduring power.
Anglia’s
student theatre society presents The Tempest
on its 400th anniversary. You are warmly invited to journey
with us, leave your troubles behind for one night; to rediscover
that “…we are such stuff as dreams are made
of”.
