Module Catalogue

Anglia Ruskin University Module Catalogue

Welcome to the module catalogue website.

This site will inform you of which modules your Faculty are running for each pathway, you will find links here to both 2011/12 AND 2012/13 academic years.   By clicking on the title of each module that is listed in the Catalogue, you will be able to view the current Module Definition Form (MDF) for the module which contains important information relevant to the module including details of the learning outcomes, content and assessment methods.  Please note that the MDF is the current version.  We constantly review all MDFs to ensure they remain up-to-date and it is therefore possible that there may be some changes to the precise details of the module before it is delivered.

2012/13 Module Planning

2012/13 Module Planning Week is 13th-17th February 2012. If you are continuing to study in 2012/13 and your pathway offers a choice of designate modules, you will need to make your choices in Module Planning Week. Please fill in a module planning form (available from the iCentres or your student adviser). A student adviser or pathway leader will need to sign your form. Completed forms can be submitted to the iCentres or your student adviser. These forms will then be handed on to Timetabling.

How do I find the information I need?

Please select the academic year you require information for, then navigate to the page for your campus, faculty and then pathway.  On your pathway page, please read through which modules are running for you next year.  If all of your modules are compulsory, you do not need to do any Module Planning. Timetabling will automatically enrol you on your modules.

If, however, you do need to make designate choices, please see either your Student Adviser or Pathway leader.

If you are studying a pathway that combines two subjects, for example, Film Studies and History, please note that you need to follow the department link for the subject which is listed first. For example, Film Studies and History will be found under 'English Communication, Film and Media', not under 'Humanities and Social Sciences'.

This site is managed by the Timetabling and Space Management Team. If you experience any problems accessing information please contact us.
