The Going Further section works in conjunction with Getting Started, so that once you've mastered the basics, we can provide you with more in depth content and resources, still within the IMPACT framework.

What is include for IMPACT ?

Throughout TeachInclusive we have used the theme Include for IMPACT. Each letter of IMPACT stands for a different aspect of inclusive practice:

  • Inclusion. General information and resources on the benefits of inclusive practice.
  • Materials. Tips and resources to assist you in making your teaching materials accessible to all.
  • Planning. Practical suggestions to help you in planning an inclusive teaching session.
  • Assessment. Advice and resources to enable you to design flexible, inclusive assessments.
  • Communication. Practical advice on a range of communication issues.
  • The Classroom. Create an environment where all students are able to fully participate.
