Alcohol awareness and substance misuse

Are you drinking within the recommended limits? Try this self-assessment to see if you are drinking too much.

Drinking too much can give you liver problems, reduced fertility, high blood pressure, increased risk of various cancers and cause heart attacks. There is no guaranteed safe level of drinking, by drinking less than the recommended daily limits your risks of harming your health are lower. Try the alcohol unit calculator to see how many units are in your normal tipple.

Have you considered taking part in one of the January or October alcohol free campaigns? Dryathlon and Dry January are both challenging you to go booze free during January and Sober October challenges you to give up booze during October.
