When booking a room for a non-teaching event, there are several areas you must consider. These have been summarised for you in events checklist.
It is important to fill this out, as it means reception and security know what is happening on campus. Without this information reception will not be able to assist any delegates or visitors and direct them to the right place.
There are a number of open space areas which you can use for stalls, exhibitions or meetings, but they must be pre-booked with The Conferences Team, please email your requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org and they will check availability and come back to you. The mezzanine in Chelmsford can be booked by contacting email@example.com or via web booking.
Any temporary signage must be displayed with consideration and using only white tack - you must ensure that at the end of the event all temporary signage is removed.
