Park and Ride

Chelmsford has two park and ride sites: Sandon and Chelmer Valley. The park and ride buses are frequent (every 10 min.) and both buses stop on campus (excludes some peak buses from Sandon).



Chelmsford Park and Ride


Fares from 1st August 2017

  • Adult daily: £3.50 (Monday to Friday)
  • Adult weekly: £17.50
  • Adult monthly: £64.50

Park and Ride tickets are valid for both the Sandon and Chelmer Valley service and allow unlimited travel across the two routes.

You can also hop onto a Chelmer Valley park and ride bus for 50p which brings you directly onto campus if you are struggling with heavy bags from Chelmsford bus station.

Cambridge Park and Ride


Cambridge has five park and ride sites. The park and ride buses are frequent (every 10 min. during peak hours).

Fares

  • Adult daily: £3.00 return to city
  • Adult weekly: £13.50
  • Adult weekly: £14.50 (P&R + stagecoach buses)
  • Adult monthly: £56 (P&R + stage coach buses)

An additional £1 to park/day (up to 18hours) is also applicable and can be paid online or £5/week.
