Anglia Ruskin University Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy exists for all students and staff, irrespective of faith or commitment.

It aims to offer time for exploring issues of faith whatever your starting point, a place where spiritual and personal issues can be discussed in confidence, space in which to relax, think, pray or just contemplate, and a friendly face and a listening ear. You can leave requests for prayer or join in the daily prayer of the chaplaincy. You will also find information about local faith communities, spiritual support for Christians and other faiths, and opportunities for helping others whilst at Anglia Ruskin University.

Chaplains of various denominations and faiths work together on both the Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses. They can help with many aspects of student life, offering practical support and advice. They can, if necessary, communicate your individual concerns to others in the university. They also organise varied events during the year, often involving free food! They are also involved in marking significant moments in the life of the university, such as graduation.

Whatever your reason for contacting the Chaplaincy, you can be assured of a welcome that is non-judgemental and accepting of you whatever you do or do not believe.

Because the Chaplaincy operates rather differently on the two campuses, follow the appropriate link below for information on your campus.
