Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) Survey

What is it?

The Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) is a national survey of all UK university leavers. It show us what you're doing 6 months after you graduate, whether that's employment or further study.

Why do we do it?

Legally, all universities have to provide results of the survey, but we also WANT to do it. Your answers help us when we're reviewing courses and developing our services, and they're useful to you as you can see how sucessful students are after completing specific courses.

Who can participate?

We ask anyone who has recently completed a course with us at Anglia Ruskin University to take part in the survey. The DLHE survey covers all full time and part time courses and qualifications from HNC level. We have to ask you all the same questions, even if you're studying for a postgraduate degree or are working at Anglia Ruskin. By completing the survey youll be helping future students to make choices about which university to attend and which course to study. At the end of the survey, every higher education institution in the UK sends encrypted information from the forms to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). You can find out more about how HESA use the data on their website.

How do I complete the DLHE survey?

Youll receive an email with a unique link so you can complete the survey online, but if we havent had a response from you by early January, well try to contact you by phone in the evenings and at the weekend.

While we encourage you to complete the survey, you're not obliged to. Let us know if you don't want to participate and well stop contacting you.

If you're having any issues completing the survey, or think you may be eligible to take part in this years survey but have not received an email link please contact

For further information please take a look at the HESA student guide.
