Click on your Faculty below to see if your course has a new Faculty Student Adviser.

What is the Faculty Student Advice Service?

Faculty Student Advisers provide a designated point of contact, where you can access friendly and professional help, advice and guidance during your studies at Anglia Ruskin University.

Our Faculty Student Advice Service consists of ten advisers, four in Cambridge, four in Chelmsford, one in Fulbourn and one in Peterborough.

What do Faculty Student Advisers do?

We will help deal with problems you may be having with academic life, and help you understand the University's modular system, rules and regulations. We can authorise extension requests and advise you about mitigation. We are able to refer you to specialist advice and information sources which can offer more detailed and in-depth guidance e.g. financial advice, careers, learning support. Additionally, we can help with timetable and result queries.

The Faculty Student Advice Service is supportive of all students at Anglia Ruskin University; full-time, part-time, undergraduate and postgraduate and although we each have a detailed knowledge of the faculty we work with, we will see any student from any faculty.

How do we achieve this?

  • Through contact hours that are more accessible to you in.
  • Having a comprehensive knowledge of the support structure and resources available within Anglia Ruskin.
  • A wide-ranging understanding of the rules and regulations and curriculum structures.
