Freedom of Information Complaints Procedure

Anglia Ruskin University aims to comply fully with its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).  If you have any questions or concerns regarding Anglia Ruskin University’s handling of requests under FOIA, please contact Jackie Barlow - the University Records Manager who is responsible for ensuring Anglia Ruskin University is compliant with the FOIA.

There are two courses of action open to you if you feel that your questions/concerns have not been dealt with adequately;

1. If you are a current, registered student at Anglia Ruskin University, you can make a complaint using Anglia Ruskin University’s Student Complaints Procedure.

If you are a member of staff or another individual, you should contact Jackie Barlow - the University Records Manager to process your complaint.

2. If you are still dissatisfied, you can go directly to the Information Commissioner, the independent body that oversees the FOIA.
