How to Make an Information Request

Any person can request information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 and this includes legal entities such as companies. The FOIA does not need to be mentioned when making a request and applicants do not have to give a reason for their request.

The request must, however, be made in writing and this includes fax and email.

Anglia Ruskin University will respond to your FOIA request within 20 working days.

There is no charge for providing the information. However, if this is likely to take more than 18 hours we may request a fee of £450 (i.e. 18 hours x £25) or alternatively we may ask that the request be scaled down.

If you would like to make a request for information you should complete the Freedom of Information Request Form and this should be passed to Jackie Barlow - the University Records Manager in the Secretary’s Office, 3rd Floor, Tindal Building, Rivermead Campus, Chelmsford, CM1 1SQ or you can email to foi@anglia.ac.uk.

For further information or if you have any questions please contact Jackie Barlow - the University Records Manager.
