Progress Platform

We now have an online research degrees student progression monitoring system called ProgressPlatform – you can login to it at:   https://progressplatform.anglia.ac.uk.  Please use your Anglia Ruskin username and password to access ProgressPlatform.

The system, which was developed by the University of Manchester, allows students and their supervisors to see their record from the point of registration, and key deadlines/milestones during a research degree student’s course are set out in a timeline which is visible to both the student and supervisor.

Students can see when specific milestones are due to be completed, or have been completed, on their progression page. The use of a traffic light system makes it easy for everyone to see when a deadline has been completed (green), partially completed (yellow) or is outstanding (red).

Forms related to research degrees processes including the Research Proposal, Confirmation of Candidature, Annual Monitoring and Nomination of Examiners are available for completion on ProgressPlatform and are attached to the associated milestone. Students, supervisors and convenors of annual monitoring meetings are able to complete all or part of a form as required. In addition students will have a document store which can be used to upload work for supervisors to comment on.

Research degree candidates are also able to book onto university training organised by Research and Innovation Development Office via ProgressPlatform and record details of any additional training they have completed.
