Study Name: Attitudes towards victims
Description: We are conducting this study to examine how people react to different types of victims and if their views about various social norms in contemporary society are predictive of these reactions.
You will read a fictional story about a victim of a car accident and asked some questions regarding your attitudes towards this story. You will also be asked to fill out some questions, which will ask you about your agreement towards various social norms (e.g., “In a disaster, women ought not necessarily be rescued before men”). Finally, you will be asked some demographic information (e.g., age, gender). Your participation will take approximately 15 minutes. This study is conducted online so you can complete the study in an environment of your choosing.
You will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw for a £20 Amazon gift voucher at the end of the study.
Eligibility: 18 years old
