ANET News Help

Anyone can submit a news story to ANET, whether for the whole Anglia Ruskin University audience or just a departmental one. It's a very simple and straightforward process.

You can choose which area to publish each story. For example you might have a story that you only want people in your School or CASU to see, or it might be a story for staff only. Both of these options are available at http://web.anglia.ac.uk/anet/news/story.phtml

If you would like to submit a news story go to http://web.anglia.ac.uk/anet/news/story.phtml, you will be prompted to login if you haven't already done so, and fill in the form.

Type in your headline and then select whether the story is to be seen by the whole of Anglia Ruskin University, just your School or CASU or everyone.

The next step is to chose which news section to show it in. For example if you only want staff to see it then untick all the boxes under 'Choose which sections of ANET this story is to be seen in' except the 'staff' one. You can make multiple selections here. If you want your story to be seen by as wide an audience as possible than check/tick all the boxes.

Then type in or paste the content of your story into the main box. If you have a picture that you want to include select it using the 'Browse' button next to the 'Picture' box. There is a restriction of one image per story. If you do have a picture please don't forget to place a very brief description of it in the 'Alt Tag' box.

Finally click on 'Submit' to submit your story, and that's it!
