IT Services is responsible for the development and implementation of strategy for our information and media systems and technology. You can read about this on our strategy page.
Our strategy is being implemented through a programme of capital projects over the period 2007-2012. You can read about some of our current projects on our Projects page.
We maintain and operate the information systems, technologies and infrastructure that are used for all purposes other than very specialist learning and teaching facilities which are managed by our Faculties, for example the CISCO laboratory which is used for students studying in our CISCO academy on computer networking courses.
We provide direct IT help and support for all staff. IT Support for students is provided through the University Library IT Help Desk.
A new and exciting Media strategy has been recently developed and approved which reviews how we can best deliver media support, facilities and equipment to staff and students. The new Media strategy will be implemented during the academic year 2010.
