ACADEMIC OFFICE
The Quality Assurance Unit is responsible for administering and facilitating the operation of Anglia Ruskin's quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures. The Unit comprises a team of 21 staff. lead by the Head of Quality Assurance, Caroline Watts. The Unit is located at St. George House (2nd Floor) in Cambridge and Ashby House (2nd Floor) in Chelmsford.
The Unit's responsibilities include the co-ordination and administration of Anglia Ruskin's examinations, the management of the academic appeals process, procedures for the approval and review of collaborative partnerships, the approval of new pathways, annual monitoring and the appointment and induction of External Examiners. The Unit provides advice and guidance on the development of quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures and coordinates visits by external bodies, for example the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). We also provide administrative support to Faculties for visits by Professional, Statutory or Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs).
